I do it all the time. Just had some Aquavit shipped last week. You

generally won't get the distiller to ship to you. You need to go through their distributors.
Years ago, it was an issue having it shipped to Virginia. But no longer.

The biggest burden is shipping costs. Although that has come down recently. My Auquavit was $38 and I paid $15 for shipping. But this small distillery is in Michigan. They only distribute in the Midwest and you can not order it through Virginia ABC.

It arrived 5 days after ordering. FedX. I have it delivered to local FedX shop and pick it up there, as you must show proof of age.
